Services for Rozeltha Clark, 92, of Clovis, NM, will be held on Thursday, December 13 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Clovis. The Rev. Stephen Cloud and Dr. Joel Home will officiate. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Clark passed from this life on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at Retirement Ranch.

She was born Dec. 4, 1915, in Childress, TX, to John and Elizabeth Austin Pierce. At the age of 9 she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at First Baptist Church, Clovis. She married Alvis Clark on Jan. 12, 1941, in Clovis. They lived in the Pleasant Hill area where they farmed and ranched. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. She was faithful member at Pleasant Hill Baptist and First Baptist, Clovis. She taught Sunday school for many years, was a long-time member of the Pleasant Hill Women's Club, and was a member of the PRMC Ladies' Auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughter Bettye Cloud and husband Larry of Texico; two grandsons Stephen Cloud Amy of Clovis and Caleb Cloud of McKinney, TX; two great granddaughters Meaghan and Meredith Cloud; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1989; one daughter Janine Beth Bowles in 1973; one granddaughter Rachelle Bowles in 1973; 4 brothers Vaudie, Leonard, Tom, Dewey Pierce; one sister Dovie Roberts.

Casket bearers will be Caleb Cloud, Stephen Cloud, Marlon Inman, Mark Boatman, Keith Riden, and Paul Tankersley. Honorary casket bearers will be nieces, nephews, and their spouses.

The casket will be open at the funeral home and prior to the service at the church and will remain closed during and after the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church mission fund or to the NM Baptist Children's Home in Portales.

The family will be at 1209 Lexington.
