Samuel Draper, Jr.

Samuel McKinley Draper, Jr., of Clovis, died Thursday, January 21, 2011, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. He was born on January 4, 1956 to Samuel and Pansey Lowe Draper in Fresno, California.

He married Laura Blanchard on August 4, 1977 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Samuel retired from the United States Marine Corps after 24 years. He is survived by his wife, Laura, of the home one son, James Draper of Port Angeles, Washington and two daughters, Mary Pitman of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Christine Whitney of Goose Creek, South Carolina.
