Sandra Gaye (Stanton) Beavers drifted into peace on June 29, 2020 as she arrived at the pearly gates of Heaven.
Sandra was born in Clovis, New Mexico on August 29, 1965 to parents Joy and J.T. Stanton of Farwell, TX.
Sandra was raised in Farwell, TX and lived in Texico, New Mexico with spouse William “Bill” Beavers. Sandra graduated high school at Farwell high, and then waitressed at numerous restaurants.
Sandra was known for her intelligence, kindness, and fondness of Elvis Presley.
Sandra collected Coca-Cola memorabilia, but drank Dr. Pepper like a true Texan.
Family speaks of Sandra as being very loved by them and her friends. Sandra wanted most in life to be near her family, celebrating the holidays together. She will be missed by all, but those who knew Sandra are glad that she is healed and with her Heavenly Father. Towards the end of Sandra’s life, she wanted healing and to be healthy once again. Family is comforted knowing that Sandra is now healed in every way.
Sandra is survived by her husband; Bill Beavers, mother; Joy Stanton, sons; Dexter (Liz) Longley, and William “B.J.” (Alicia) Beavers, daughter; Tacia (Gabriel) Jaime, siblings; Cheryl (Robert) Smith, Selene Pareo, and Michael (Sheri) Stanton. Sandra is survived by two beautiful grandchildren, Catalina and Devon, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.
Preceding Sandra in death is her father; J.T. Stanton, uncle; Raymond Edwards, brother-in-law; Tommy Pareo, great-niece; Blake Smith, cousin; Stephanie Baeza, as well as both sets of grandparents.
A memorial service will be held in Sandra’s honor on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 2:00pm.
This memorial will hosted and led by Sandra’s beautiful family in the Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is located at 800 E Manana Blvd. Clovis, New Mexico 88101.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, it is a mandatory requirement that all wear a mask, and sit every other pew with only those they live with. Please keep a 6 foot distance from those you do not reside with.
