Sandy Winfrey

Sandy E. Winfrey, age 80, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on June 12, 2012 at his home in Clovis, New Mexico.

Sandy was born on October 11, 1931 in Clovis, New Mexico to Dick E. and Lottie Mae Cranfill Winfrey. He graduated from Clovis High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served three years. Sandy returned to Clovis and worked for the old Santa Fe Railroad. During his employment, he attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and received his bachelors degree. Sandy was always involved in church and was a member of Prince Street Baptist Church in Clovis. He married Jimmie Lou Chilton Manasco on March 17, 2001 in Clovis, New Mexico. Sandy enjoyed horses, going on trail rides and was a member of the Mounted Patrol.

Sandy is survived by his wife: Jimmie Lou Manasco Winfrey three sons: Sandy E. Winfrey, Jr., Jim Manasco and Jerald Manasco three daughters: Ann Pelletier, Helen Duke Younger and Reba Dixon seven grandchildren: Katie Pelletier, Heather Antonio Beltran, Cole Dawn Younger, Miles Manasco, Kirk Manasco, James Manasco and Sarah Dixon two great grandsons: Gabriel Beltran and Connor Younger one great granddaughter: Hayley Younger and one sister: Evelyn Young.

He was preceded in death by his parents one son: Trace Kevin Winfrey and five sisters.

Funeral Services are at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012 at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel, 800 E. Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM with Tommy Hohstadt officiating and Jon Forrest assisting.
Casket bearers are Dale Miller, Larry Hughes, Jerry Cryer, Steven Holland, Howard Manasco and Austin Ferrow. Honorary casket bearers are the members of the Mounted Patrol, The Eagles and the Mens Bible Class. Interment will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, Clovis, New Mexico.
