Margie Goforth, 85, of Texico, died Monday, December 26, 2005, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.brbrShe was born on October 2, 1920, in Decatur, Texas, to George and Margaret Goforth.brbrShe was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charlie, Bill, Henry, and Woddy Goforth; and sisters, Malvie Ham, Nannie Goforth, Annie Rose Jones, Catherin Cote, Mary Melinda Jones and Pollie Duncan.brbrSurvivors include her brother, Joe Goforth of Texico; sisters, Ollie Hannah and Lou Reese, both of Amarillo; a numerous nieces and nephews.brbrPhillip Steyn will officiate. Burial will be a the Texico Cemetery in Texico.brbrMemorial contributions may be made to the Christian Children's Home in Portales.brbrArrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
