Sarah Lee

Sarah Jean Gibson Lee, 84, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Thursday, September 15, 2006 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis. She was born June 15, 1922 to Elmer Lotta Pickrell Gibson.

She served in the U. S. Navy as a Hospital Apprentice during World War II and was a retired Professor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa

She is survived by her Husband, Robert Gene Lee of Clovis, New Mexico; Son, Msgt. Clinton A. Lee of Clovis, New Mexico; Grandson, Derek Cory Lee of Clovis, New Mexico and Nieces, Ann Guessford of Englewood, Colorado and Linda Lee Williams of Clovis, New Mexico and sister-in-law, Nancy F. McPherson of Clovis, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Francis Gibson and 1 sister, Margaret Cooper.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
