Sharalyn Hukill

Sharalyn Jean Sherry Hukill, age 78, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on June 30, 2012 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, New Mexico.

Sherry was born on October 15, 1933 to Milard and Cloreda Selk Dodge in Lexington, Nebraska. She was raised in Lexington. She met C.L. Hukill and they were married on January 22, 1955 in Pacoima, California. They came to the Pleasant Hill area and farmed there until they retired. Sherry was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Sherry enjoyed painting, quilting, crochet and sewing. She loved guardian angels and Santa Claus figurines.

Sherry is survived by her husband, C.L. Hukill of the home One son: Troy Hukill of Clovis, New Mexico one daughter: Cathy Tobbie Crosswhite of Hatch, New Mexico two sisters: Eleanore Kelley of Lexington, Nebraska and Arlyn Richard Bownan of Dewitt, Iowa two brothers: Keith Ardith Dodge of Cozad, Nebraska and Jim Lorna Dodge of Nebraska five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, Clovis, New Mexico with Dr. Herbert Bergstrom officiating. Honorary casket bearers are all of Sherrys family and friends.
