Shirley Meyer

Shirley Mae (Smrcina) Meyer, 79, Lubbock Texas, passed away to be with our Lord on August 31, 2016 in Lubbock TX.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Damon Pearce officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
Shirley was born in Prarie du Chien, WS on October 16, 1936 to George and Mary Smrcina. Shirley was a native of Florida.
Shirley enjoyed golf, politics, cooking, and collectible memorabilia. She was a former Republican Committee Woman in Orlando FL., and was also a former Information Operator at Southwestern Bell.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sheila D. Murrell (Amarillo, TX), son, Stuart E. Meyer (Farwell, TX), and son, Steven C. Meyer (Florida).
Shirley was truly blessed by having 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
