Shondel Lofton

Shondel Donte Lofton, age 35, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on June 7, 2012 at his home in Clovis, New Mexico.

Shondel was born on February 19, 1977 to Daniel William and Detra Lorraine Jackson Lofton at Castle Air Force Base, California. He graduated from Clovis High School and attended Texas Bible Institute for two years at Columbus, Texas. Shondel worked as a custodian at Barry Elementary School. He also worked for CaselLand for the past twelve years and at Interim Healthcare for the past two years.

Shondel was a true encourager and uplifted everyone he came into contact with, no matter what their age.

Shondel is survived by his parents: Daniel and Dee Lofton of Clovis, NM two sisters: Janelle Lofton and Charissa Daniel Harguess of Clovis, NM Maternal grandparents: Henry and Constance Jackson of Clovis, NM four nephews: Jayce Hahn, Jeremy Harguess, Isaiah Harguess and Devon Harguess and numerous aunts and uncles.

Everyone who loved and knew Shondel is welcome to attend the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Faith Christian Family Church in Clovis, NM with Pastor David Swann officiating and Pastor Rick Burke assisting.
