Stella A. Sandoval Moton age 74 of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born May 15, 1934 in Sapello, New Mexico to Ignacio and Hattie Herman Pacheco. She meet Charlie Sandoval at age 18 and was married in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She was a homemaker and worked also as a waitress. She lived in Las Vegas, New Mexico, Tucumcari, New Mexico, and Nara Visa, New Mexico. She came to Clovis in 1981 and remained here until her death. She was a member of the American Legion Womens Auxiliary in Tucumcari. She was of the Catholic faith and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clovis.

She is survived by one son Carlos and his wife Marie Sandoval of Plainview, Texas; two daughters Florence Sandoval of Phoenix, Arizona, and Yvonne Massey of Tucumcari, New Mexico; three grandchildren La Donna Sandoval of Garland, Texas, Duane Whitcraft of Phoenix, Arizona, and Chas and wife Sara Whitcraft of Phoenix, Arizona; one great-grandson Christian Whitcraft of Phoenix, Arizona; one nephew Don Pacheco of Tijeras Canyon, New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Sotero Sena officiating and burial to follow in Nara Visa, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be La Donna Sandoval, Duane Whitcraft, Chas Whitcraft, Don Pacheco, Carolyn Bingham, and Richard Chavez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bennie Sandoval, Orlando Sandoval, Martin Sandoval and Frank Moton. Arrangements are under the direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home 800 E.
