Sue Kirby

Services for Sue Kirby age 75 of Clovis, New Mexico are scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Steed-Todd Chapel with Rev. Roy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her family members. Sue was born August 14, 1932 in Clovis, New Mexico to William Lee and Martha May Homes Roman. She passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis. She married Lester Kirby October 1, 1949 in Clovis. She worked as a Sales Clerk for the Levines Department Store and later was the Manager for the S H Green Stamp Store here in Clovis. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Clovis and volunteered as a Pink Lady at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She is survived by her son Kraig and his wife Teresa Kirby of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two brothers Jimmy and wife Helen Roman of Clovis; Bill Roman of West Covina, California; one grandson Roman Kirby, great grandson Eric Kirby, and great grand daughter Shantel Kirby all of Albuquerque, New Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters Caroline Roman and Faynell Roman, and one brother Walter Roman.
