Taya Leeder

Taya Brooke Leeder, of Abilene, TX passed away at the age of 25 on July 18, 2006 after a short illness at Covenant Health Center. Taya was born on March 3, 1981 in Clovis to Guy and Paulette Leeder.

Taya was a graduate student with a Masters in Education from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene. She attended Southwest Baptist Church and was a member of Epsilon Pi Alpha Sorority. She had been a substitute teacher and loved teaching the little ones. Her passion was her Lord and Savior, her beloved family and friends. She believed in education; her goals were to become a teacher and serve in the mission fields whenever possible.

Taya leaves behind her father and mother, Guy and Paulette Leeder a sister Laura Leeder, a niece Taya Marie Leeder. Her aunts uncles Bill Pauline Campbell all of Clovis. RD Linda Price of Hollister, MO, Sharon Dalton Jolley of Houston, TX. Her grandparents Virgil Leeder and Erma Meredith. Cousins Chanda Wade Abbiott of League City, TX, Chesna Chuck Koch of Chicago, Ill. Taya is preceded in death by her grandparents Wilma Leeder of Clovis, Paul and Marie Price of Richmond, MO,

Services will be held at 9:30 am Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Central Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Woodard and Pastor Greg Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens; Clovis, NM. Pallbearers will be Crissy Cotham, Kristina Cotham, Meredith Rutherford, Amber Hedges, Mee Yung Knapp, Jennifer Ware, Jasmine Watson, Shara Johnson and Lindsey Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her sorority sisters from Epsilon Pi Alpha. The family will be at home at 205 Wrangler Way.
