T.E. Willmon, Jr., age 91, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on September 19, 2012 at Farwell Care and Rehab in Farwell, Texas.
He was born on January 21, 1921 to Thomas Ezell and Flora Ellen Duke Willmon in Clovis, New Mexico. T.E. was raised by W.S. and Phoebe Willmon after his mother passed away shortly after childbirth. He graduated from Clovis High School and married Imogene Wall on May 12, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico. T.E. worked as a banker at Citizens Bank, retiring as President after working for the bank for over 50 years. During his banking career, he served in many civic organizations and served, at one time, as the Chamber of Commerce President. T.E. was a member of Advent Christian Church where he served as a deacon and also taught the Mens Bible Class at the theater for many years.
T.E. is survived by his wife, Imogene, of the home two sons: Dr. Brian Willmon of Clovis and Dr. Greg Dotty Willmon of Clovis and two grandchildren: Mark and David Willmon, both of Clovis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and W.S. and Phoebe Willmon one brother: Earl Willmon and one son: Darrel Allen Willmon.
Graveside services are at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis with Sam Walsh officiating.
