Thad Isbell

alignjustify Thad James Isbell, 71, of Friona, TX died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at his home in Friona. He was born March 8, 1936 in Santa Rosa, NM to Sam E. and Eula Jane Lindley Isbell.

alignjustify Mr. Isbell married Effie Crawford on June 11, 1978 in Farwell, TX. He was a truck driver all his life. He was a member of the Muzzleloaders Club and he loved to hunt. He was a charter member of the Clovis Eagles Lodge.

alignjustify He is survived by his wife, Effie of the home; two sons, Sam Lupe Isbell of Fritch, TX, and Wayne Angie Isbell of Greenville, TN; three daughters Brenda Hodges of Clovis, Sarah Mike Meyer of Granbury, TX, and Latisha Clyde Bibbs of Clovis; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Thad James Isbell Jr., and one brother, Newt.

alignjustify A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Steed-Todd Chapel at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Wayne Boydstun officiating. Honorary Casket Bearers are all his friends.
