Thomas Fury

Memorial Services for Tommy Fury age 69 of Clovis will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at SteedTodd Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor David Swann officiating. Viewing will be held at SteedTodd Funeral Home until 8:00 p.m. tonight. Cremation will take place at SteedTodd Crematory before services.

Tommy was born November 24, 1942 in Clovis, New Mexico to Mike and Mary Loretta Dean Fury. He grew up in Grady, New Mexico and graduated from Grady High School. He went to college at Eastern New Mexico University for a year and a half. He went to work at the Red Barn in Clovis where he later owned and operated Fury Fertilizer.

Tommy enjoyed the outdoors and going to the family ranch. He raced motorcycles and taught all his grandchildren to ride motorcycles and go trail riding in the mountains with the family. He also loved to ski, fish, and fly his personal airplane.

Tommy is survived by his wife Barbara Fury of the home in Clovis two daughters Kathy May Fury of Clovis Sharon Edwards Fury of Clovis one brother Jerry and wife Ola Fury of Grady, New Mexico four grandchildren Britany May of Clovis, Amanda Edwards of Clovis, New Mexico Hunter Edwards of Clovis and Brooke May of Clovis five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
