Timoteo Madrid, 85 of Clovis, NM passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017, at his home in Clovis, NM with his family by his side.
Timoteo was born and raised at Gonzales Ranch, NM. He didn't attend any school, he worked at a flour mill, until he was drafted into the military. When he came back home he married his wife Lucinda of 62 years. Together, they raised a family of 2 boys and 1 girls in Clovis, NM. He worked at Excel until he retired. He and his wife were members of Our Lady Guadalupe.
He is proceeded in death by his wife; his parents; and a daughter.
Timoteo is survived by his 2 children David and Patrick (Rosa) Madrid of Clovis, NM. Brothers Joe Lovato, Sam Madrid ( Louisita), Areenio Madrid (Mickey), Valdemar Madrid (Ofelia), Louciano (Barbara), Gilbert (Mary); Sisters Eva Roybal , Terry Venavidez (Chris) and Mary Jean Vaca (Jesus) As well as 7 grandchildren; Annisa, Jimmy, Stevie, Felicia Madrid, Chirs, Jessica, and Daniella Prieto; and 3 great grandchildren. Timoteo also leaves behind, his best friend of all his life Andres (Tito Garduno), Jimmy Garcia, Francisco Acosta, Don Garcia and the rest of well-known friends.
A Rosary will be 6:00pm, April 18, 2017 at Steed Todd Funeral Home.
Mass will be 10:30am, April 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories.
Pall Bearers will be Jimmy Madrid, Stevie Madrid, Chris Prieto, Ernest Madrid, Timo-teo Duran, Matthew Madrid, Daniel Pena, and Gabriel Duran.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be John Duran, Archie Madrid, Noah Spell, George Mtz Sr, and George Mtz Jr.
