Tinnie L. Burchett, 90, of Farwell, died Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Farwell Convalescent Center. Born May 12, 1915, in Field to James and Mint Roles Gibbs, she married John F. Burchett. She farmed with her husband at Grier for many years. She moved to Clovis in 1962. She was a member of Ranchvale Baptist Church.brbrShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Weytha Hawkins; four sisters, Lura Lee Wade, Mary Pounds, Margaret Ritter and Bea Beasley; and three brothers, Clayburn, E.B., Doc and Joe Dick Gibbs.brbrShe is survived by a daughter, Jean Leatherwood of Clovis; a sister, Maurine Hale and husband, Dave of Farmington; a brother, Alfred Gibbs Anna Dee of Dimmitt, Texas; eight grandchildren, Terry Leatherwood Carroll, Limey Riley Diana, Mike Leatherwood Kathy, Danny Riley Jan, Kandi Davidson Rick, and Brian Hawkins Angie; 20 great-grandchildren; 13 great great-grandchildren; and 3 great great great-grandchildren.brbrServices will be Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ranchvale Baptist Church. Burial will be at Melrose Cemetery in Melrose. Dusty Leatherwood will officiate services. The family will be at 924 County Rd. 15. Chris Lewis, Les, Ryan, and Shane Leatherwood, John, Jeremie and Josh Riley, and Miles and Cimm Thompson will serve as pallbearers.brbrAll grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great- grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.brThe family has suggested memorials to be made to the Baptist Childrens Home in Portales.brbrArrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home.br
