Services for Vassie Salisbury age 80 of Clovis, New Mexico will be held Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Kingswood United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. in Clovis, New Mexico with Pastor David Bachelor officiating, burial will follow at the Grady Cemetery in Grady, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Samson Snell, Stetson Snell, Edwin Snell, Kyler Salisbury, and Randy McCasland.

Vassie was born June 10, 1931 in Denver, Colorado to Clinton Charles and Vassie Davis Coombs. She worked as a Social Service worker as a homemaker. She passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Clovis Healthcare in Clovis.

She is survived by her eight children Shirley Vetterly of Baden, PA Richard Javern Vetterly, Ft. Sumner, NM Bill LeeAnn Vetterly of Clovis, NM Debbie Chris Long of Shreveport, LA Harry Vetterly of Clovis, NM Julie Sam Snell of Clovis, NM Dean Patty Salisbury of Clovis, NM and Diane Joe Walton of Clovis, NM Thirteen grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren one brother Clint Coombs and one sister Patty Hillock. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Salisbury, son Emmett Salisbury, Father and Mother, brother Clarence Coombs, and infant brother Franklin Coombs.
