Vera Edna McIntosh, 92, of Clovis, New Mexico, died March 3, 2009, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born December 20, 1916, in Devol, Oklahoma to Charlie and Iris Reynolds.
She married John McIntosh April 4, 1936 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. They lived in Newkirk, New Mexico. They moved to the Grier, New Mexico community in 1939 where farmed and ran a dairy. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Clovis.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1989; her parents; 2 sisters, Vergie Shaw and Margie Cogdill and 3 brothers, Hack Reynolds, Roland Reynolds and Earl Reynolds.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Mitchell Ronnie of Clovis; a son, Wesley McIntosh of Clovis; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis with Rev. Dick Ross officiating.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
