Vera graciously and unselfishly gave her time to her many family and friends and cherished every visit and phone call. She enjoyed cooking and canning food with her daughters, granddaughters and great-granddaughters. She was always grateful for an outing to the farmers market and grocery stores including Wal-Mart. Getting out of the house was a treat for her.
She enjoyed her many visits from her neighbor and longtime friend, Marie Walkup. She valued her relationship with her friend of 70 years, Dorothy Savage. She was extremely grateful for the love and caregiving she received from Tonya, Monica and Sheila at Interim Hospice, and especially from her beloved grandson, Dustin.
Her frequent phone calls from her sister Grace always got her smiling as they shared several laughs together. Her life was blessed with love beyond measure from all her many wonderful family members and friends.
