Victor Ray Armijo, 52, of Clovis, died on April 15, 2005 at Covenant Medical Center, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on October 24, 1952 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Caterino V. and Luz Villasana Armijo.brbrVictor had been a longtime resident of Clovis and graduated from Clovis High School in 1971. He excelled in gymnastics and loved to hunt. He served in the New Mexico National Guard for 18 years. He was a member of My Fathers House Church and the Board of Directors for the Light House Mission.brbrHe is preceded in death by his parents and five sisters. Survivors include his wife, Susan Armijo of the home; a son, Victor Armijo, Jr.; daughters, Michelle Sandoval and her husband, Santiago, and Janette Trippette and her husband, James; his mother, Angela Mendez; eight brothers, C.V. Jr., Leo, Fred and Joe Armijo; Albert, Jr., Carl Joe, Robert and Patrick Mendez; three sisters, Margaret McCormick and her husband, Bill, Judy Armijo, and Debbie Mendez; grandchildren, Santiago Trippette, Jr., Victor Armijo III, Tristen and Amber Rose Sandoval.brbrA memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2005, at Steed-Todd Chapel with Pastor Randy Gomez and Richard Gomez officiating.
