Violet Mae Brown, 89, of Carrollton, Texas formerly of Clovis, died on October 30, 2005, at The Medical Center of Plano in Plano, Texas. She was born on June 21, 1916 in Camargo, Oklahoma to Roy and Nellie Tuck.brbrShe married Eugene W. Brown on June 10, 1933 in Woodward, Oklahoma, and is preceded in death by her husband on May 17, 2004. She is also preceded in death by one sister, Daisy Bishop.brbrSurvivors include one daughter, Odelsa J. Hodges of Rockdale, Texas; two sons, Bob W. Brown of Corpus Christi, Texas and Jim L. Brown of Carrollton, Texas; one sister, Norma Lee Baker of Camargo, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.brbrServices will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Steed-Todd Chapel with Sam Kelley officiating.
