Virginia Stagner

Virginia L. Dial Stagner, age 90, of Clovis, NM, is resting in the arms of her Savior. She went Home from Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis on July 11, 2011. Virginia was born in Jacksonville, Texas, on May 7, 1921 to Sidney Byron and Elizabeth Sabatha Spivey Dial. On December 18, 1937, she married Jack M. Stagner from Bovina, Texas.

Virginia was a member of Central Baptist Church of Clovis and has been her familys most ardent and favorite prayer warrior. It has been said that once you get on her prayer list, you are there till the end. She was a wonderful role model for all who knew her and was well known for her everpresent smile. Her children are very thankful that God chose her for their mother and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Fulcher of Clovis three sons, Jack Jr. Sue of Corrales, NM, Jerry Sheila of Truth or Consequences, NM, and Dan Maria Elena of Ruidoso, NM 18 grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren and a brother, Jack Dial of Amarillo, Texas.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings and son, Gary Keith.

A memorial service for the celebration of Virginias life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at SteedTodd Chapel with Pastor Alan McAlister officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Cremation has taken place.
