Virginia Stevenson

Virginia Ginger Lee Stevenson, age 64, of Clovis, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at BeeHive Homes in Clovis. She was born on December 13, 1946, in Tempe, Arizona, to Otha and Ruth Cooper Simmons.

Ginger married Jim Stevenson on November 18, 1968 in Clovis. Her passion was her family and she loved caring for them. She especially enjoyed family reunions and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included baking, gardening, and caring for all her special pets.

She is survived by her husband, Jim children, Jimmy Sara Stevenson of Charlotte, North Carolina, Krista Chris Barry of Superior, Colorado, and Rusty Sandra Stevenson of Reno, Nevada seven grandchildren, Devin Stevenson, Hunter Barry, Cade Barry, Brayden Barry, Caysen Barry, Tyler Stevenson, and Cierra Stevenson two nieces, Julie and Jamie Stevenson one sister, Debbie Mark Dayhoff of Clovis and two brothers, Charlie Sue Simmons and Randy Jyl Simmons, both of Showlow, Arizona.

Ginger is preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Annabelle Hendricks, Joanne More, Junie Stevenson, and Delano Simmons.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23 at SteedTodd Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 24 at SteedTodd Chapel.
