W. Reid

W. O. Reid, 77, of Logan, New Mexico, died Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born January 16, 1933 in Wheeler, Texas, to Wilson Levi Ruth Tucker Reid.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a longtime Logan resident. He worked for Southwestern Public Service and Farmers Electric. He also was ownercontractor of W. O. Reid Construction Company. He loved to fish and hunt.

He is survived by three sons, Terry Reid Judy, Jack Reid and Jimmy Reid Debbie two sisters, Margie Crooks Arlye and Sue Webester Doyle two brothers, Kenneth Reid and Don Reid Zane grandchildren, Shawn Reid, J. D. Reid, Lexi Reid, Kane Reid, Michael Reid, Jerrica Reid, Kambrie Reid, Hailey Richey, Kody Vaughan Tatum and Kasey Vaughan Andrea two great grandchildren, Landri and Kennedi.

He was preceded in death by his parents two sons, Gary Reid and Danny Reid two brothers, Bill Reid and Jerry Reid 1 grandson, Landon Reid and long time friend, Billie Jean Trujillo.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at SteedTodd Chapel. Cremation has taken place.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Citizens Center in Logan.
