Walter Balleau

Walter George Balleau, Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on the afternoon of August 3, 2012. Born in Santa Rosa, New Mexico December 6, 1936, George had a full life of family adventures, world travel, collegiate sports at the University of New Mexico, and all of the joys that fatherhood and family can bring. His lasting legacy is the way he enriched the lives of so many people in a positive way throughout his life as a father and mentor. George will be fondly remembered by his wife, Marilyn her children, Randy and Jana his sons, Michael, David, and Jeff his brothers, Peter and Robert his mother Clota Balleau their grandchildren Sarah, Benjamin, Anna, Stephanie, Michael Tyler, Taylor, Zachary, Victoria, Austin, Jonathan, Jacob, Joel, Kaitlyn, Justine, Beau, and Noah, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. George was preceded in death by his father, Walter George Balleau Sr., his sister Dorothy, and a brother, Lee.

Services: St. Johns United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona Street NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Saturday August 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM with a lunch reception to immediately follow. 505 8839717.
