Walter Marion Potts

Walter Potts, age 74 of Hollene, NM, passed away on May 3, 2013 at home.
Walter was born on September 7, 1938, in Clovis, NM to Roy and Opal Potts. Walter was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill, NM. After attending school in Rosedale, NM, and serving in the U.S. Army, Walter returned home the family farm and ranch. He will be missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lois Potts daughter Becky Roberson Todd of Rusk, TX son Billy Joe BJ Potts of Dimmitt, TX daughter Monia Ann Venhaus Joel of Hollene, NM grandson Logan Potts of Pullman, WA granddaughter Abbie Fail Jon of Albuquerque, NM granddaughter Charity Wilson of Hollene, NM grandson Dustin Venhaus Skyla of Amarillo, TX grandson Coby Venhaus of Dimmitt, TX greatgrandson Byron Fail of Albuquerque, NM greatgrandson Troy Venhaus of Amarillo, TX sister Gayle Gray of Lubbock, TX sister Betty Day Bill of Dalhart, TX sisterinlaw Pat Autery Ralph of Lancaster, CA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Walter is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be on May 7, 2013 at 10AM MST, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill, NM with Pastor Jim Peabody officiating, grave side services following at the Hollene Cemetery, Hollene, NM.
