Wanda Fortner

Wanda Louise Fortner, 93, of Clovis, NM, passed away on May 20, 2015 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm (MDT), Saturday May 23, 2015, at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell, TX, with Pastor Wayne Boydstun officiating.

Wanda was born in McAlester, OK to Jessie Wilson Lula Gatewood Wilson on October 16, 1921. She married Martin Fortner on December 13, 1964 and they resided in Oklahoma City until he passed away in 1987. At a time she moved to Clovis to be near family. For the last 3 years she has lived at The Retirement Ranch in Clovis. She truly enjoyed gardening, crocheting and quilting for many years.

She is preceded in death by both her parents and her husband.

Wanda is survived by her 2 sons, Roy (Vicki) Gamble of Smithville, TX, Robert (Beverly) Gamble of Clovis, NM and one daughter Karen Lane, of Inez, TX. several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
