During his time in the Army-Air Corp, W.T. served in various assignments, culminating in an honorable discharge in December, 1945.brbrWhile serving his country, he put his training to good use by convincing the lovely Laura Mae Jones to become his life-long partner in June, 1944. He spent 33 years as an engineer on the A.T. S.F. Railroad, retiring in 1985. Quilting and poker were his passions following his career as an engineer on the A.T. S.F. Railroad. He will be missed by family and friends.
