William Bovell

W. T. Bill Bovell, III, died March 31, 2008, in a fatal accident. He was born February 9, 1945 in San Diego, California to William Bovell, II and Juarene Edwards. He spent some time in Texas, but his heart and home were in New Mexico. Bill served proudly in the United States Army from 1965 thru 1967. He was a master mechanic for more the 40 years and truly loved working with his hands. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, reading and playing golf.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Eldridge from Houston, Texas and his son Ron Thompson from Abilene, Texas; 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 4 to 17; 3 sisters, Tommie Bratcher, Jacque Bass, and Ninie Hammon, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday, April 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Steed-Todd Chapel with Hulan Bass officiating. Cremation will take place following services.
