William Carpenter

William G. Carpenter, age 95, passed away at home and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19, 2012. His wife was by his side.

William was born on April 17, 1917 in House, New Mexico. He married Ruth McCullough on January 10, 1942 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. William served five years with the US Air Force, including three years in Europe.

William is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ruth several nieces and nephews including Bettye Downey, Bobbye Adams, Jean Duncan, Lorayne Hall, Laverne Morris, Willard Carpenter, Terry Carpenter, Gene Carpenter and Ray Price two sistersinlaw and one brotherinlaw.

He was preceded in death by a son, Pat his parents: William Carpenter, Sr. and Emma Jane Carpenter two sisters: Pearl Morrow and Ruth Price three brothers: Fred Carpenter, George Carpenter and Cline Carpenter and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the House Cemetery in House, New Mexico with Sherman Martin officiating.
