Bill Glen, 78, died Sunday, October 7, 2007 from acute kidney failure after a brief stay in the Rio Rancho Health Care Center. He was born July 3, 1929 in St. Vrain, New Mexico the youngest child of Minnie and William Glen.
Bill was a lifetime resident of New Mexico working with the Clovis Fire Department from 1950 1963. He was an auto mechanic and self employed at Southwest Wrecking Co. In 1983 he and his wife, Frankie, moved to Tucumcari where both were self employed. Frankie opened a John Deere parts store and Bill sold used cars and various second hand items. In 2005 he moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
He is survived by one sister, Lee McDaniel of Clovis; four children, Sue Anne Valencia Bill of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Peggy Lee Smokey Henderson of Mexia, Texas, Donna Longoria Jr. of Christine, Texas and Kyle Glen Leeann of Clovis; three stepchildren, Ben Littlejohn of Stamford, Texas, Shirie Wallace of Reno, Nevada and Bobby Littlejohn Jan of Clovis; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Glen and two sons, Billy Lee and Keith Glen.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Steed-Todd Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
