William "Bill" Horace Lee

William "Bill" Horace Lee of House, NM passed away on August 19th, 2016 in Clovis, NM.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 on Wednesday morning August 24th at the Baptist Church in House, NM. Reverend Joe Sparks will be officiating the service. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bill was born in Clovis, NM to H.J. and Roberta Lee on June 8th, 1938. He started school in McAlister, NM and ended up graduating at House School. On July 26th, 1961 Bill married his true love, Susan Joan Dowds, and they made their home in House, NM where he continued working as a farmer and rancher throughout his life.

Bill was proceeded in death by his beautiful wife of 42 years, Susan. His parents, a brother Jerry Lee and a son-in-law, Grady Le Eldridge.

Bill is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Ty) Saulsberry of House, NM. Melanie (Tommy) Dinwiddie of Capitan, NM. His brother Bob (Doris) Lee of McAlister, NM, his sister Terri (Woody) Wells of Pampa, TX and Linda (John) Canady of Wyoming. Bill is also survived by five grandchildren; Ronnie and Teke Eldridge, Tara Griggs, Ashley Cramblet and Lee Griggs, and Kyra Dinwiddie. Eight great grandchildren; Kyler and Kynlee Cramblet, Kross Stampfli, Rayce and Kollins Griggs, and Ashlyn, Rori, and Aubrey Eldridge. Plus, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff of both the Bee Hive Memory Care Home and Interim Hospice for not only being a true blessing to Bill, but for also being his extended family during their time of need.
