William Bud Stebbins, 76, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Thursday, August 31, 2006 at his home in Clovis. He was born November 8, 1929 in Clovis, New Mexico to John Margaret Stebbins.
He was owner of Magic Steam Laundry for many years. He spent much of his time at his home in the mountains of northern New Mexico and traveling. He enjoyed woodworking and had a passion for horseback riding with his good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Calvin Stebbins Freddy Stebbins and his wife Sue Stebbins.
He is survived by daughters, Becky Stebbins of Topeka, Kansas Taka Stephens of Burbank, California; 4 grandsons, Jonathan Michael Stebbins of Topeka, Kansas, Andrew Norman of Italy Nicholas Norman of Burbank, California; brother, Wesley Stebbins of Las Cruces, New Mexico; sisters, Maria Pearson of Clovis, New Mexico and Susan Bridge of South Texas and close friend, Janie Carson of Amarillo, Texas.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at First United Methodist Church in Clovis with Dr. Ran Loy officiating. Entombment will follow at Plains Sanctuary Mausoleum, Mission Gardens of Memories in Clovis, New Mexico.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Curry County Mounted Patrol.
