Wilma Parrish

Wilma Joyce Parrish, age 79, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis. She was born On August 11, 1933 in Davis, Oklahoma to the home of Charlie and Willie Cone.

She was a lifelong resident of Clovis. She married William Stanley Parrish on May 29, 1950 in Clovis. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her dogs. She loved antiquing and also attending blue grass festivals. Another favorite of hers was fishing.

Survivors include one son, Dean Laura Parrish of Clovis, New Mexico two daughters, Patricia Black of Dumas, Texas, and Barbara Appleton of Denton, Texas two sisters, Susie Fain of Clovis, New Mexico and Mae Wilson of Clovis, New Mexico one brother Johnny Tyler of Flagstaff, Arizona ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents her husband and one sister Rene Harvey.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 in the SteedTodd Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis. Casket Bearers will be her grandsons.
