Winfred G. Lockmiller
Winfred G. Lockmiller, 93, died on September 25, 2009, in Clovis, New Mexico.
He was born August 10, 1916 in El Dorado, Oklahoma to Sam and Victoria Lockmiller.
Winfred attended school at Ranchvale. After graduation and marriage to Kathleen Nisbett, he farmed in that community until moving to Clovis in 1943. He worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company until he retired in 1975. He and Kathleen enjoyed RVing until her death in 1997.
He was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church and the Retired Telephone Workers.
Winfred was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lee; his wife, Kathleen; a sister, Bib House, a brother, Tootie Lockmiller; and both parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Diane Reed Bill; his son, Dale Lockmiller Nell; 2 sisters, Pete Preston and Norma Townsend; 2 brothers, Perky Lockmiller and Sterling Lockmiller; 6 grandchildren, Paul Reed, Deanna Bouillon, DLynn Jamerson Ricky, Dale Lockmiller, Jr. Tammy, Curtis Rickerson Terry and Cheryl Franklin; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
