Zach Logsdon

On May 29, 2012, after a 5 year battle with cancer, Zach Logsdon, 19, passed from this life into the waiting embrace of his Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Zach is the son of John and Judy Logsdon and brother of Emily Logsdon. He was born in Stillwater Oklahoma on September 1, 1992. Zach attended school in Clovis and graduated with honors from Clovis High in 2011. Zach ran cross country and track, as well as played football and basketball for Clovis. Football was Zachs favorite sport to play and watch. He was an ardent Clovis Wildcat and OSU Cowboys fan and was always rallying for his teams. Zach was an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed hunting, shooting, dirt bikes, four wheeling and in general going fast on anything with wheels. Zach was active in youth and young adult ministries at Central Baptist Church.

Zachs quiet whimsical character reflected his love of family, friends and life. His bravery and perseverance in the face of his battle with cancer was testimony to his unwavering reliance on God and the strength and peace only He can provide. Zach exemplified the virtues of a modern day knight, adhering to the principals of honor, integrity, bravery and love for which he has received the greater reward.
