Barbara Corbin

On June 3, 2023, Barbara N. Corbin, went to be with the Lord. She had a full and joyful life. Mrs. Corbin received her certificate in accounting, then became the supervisor in jewelry at J. C. Penny's. She retired from there in 2007, then she helped manage Turquoise Estate Water Corp. with her husband.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Steed Todd Funeral Home from 4-8 pm.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Portales Cemetery.

Barbara is survived by 8 sisters and 1 brother, and her 6 children; Terri (Harold) Myers, Carrie Cole, Kathy Cole, Dale Cole, Cheryl LaMarche (Rob), and Michelle Mecalco (Cliff). She had 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, James F. Corbin Jr., mother and father, Ona and Ike Bynum, and one sister, France Duke.
