Billie Sims

Bill Gene Sims, 70, died March 19, 2015 in Lubbock, TX at Covenant Specialty Hospital.

He was born in Alabama on October 10, 1944. His family moved to Northern California during his teen years where he met his first wife Carol Sheppard. Bill and Carol moved to Clovis, NM and lived a wonderful life until Carol passed away in 1996.

Bill later met Rosalee (Rosie) Blakely and soon after married. Bill and Rosie spent the next 17 years living life to the fullest, raising their family, fishing, boating, and gardening. During his life he worked several jobs including 30 years at Bovina Feeders as a supervisor.

Bill is survived by his wife, Rosie Sims; his four daughters, Tina Sharp, Kathy Bodine, Tammy Rotta, and Michelle Holguin; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Steed Todd Chapel. Afterwards the family will gather for a luncheon at 1908 St Andrews.
