Karen Tibbs

Karen went to be with her lord on January 18, 2015, after a long battle with cancer.

Karen was born in Clovis, NM on November 3, 1948 to Ernest A. "Bud" and Anna Jean Beunting. She Married T.J. Tibbs in Clovis on February 10, 1973. Karen was a registered nurse, beginning at Clovis Memorial Hospital in 1978 and retiring from Plains Regional Medical Center in December 2013.

Karen was a wonderful loving mother and wife. She loved her children above all else and was completely devoted to them. She leaves a void that can never be filled and will be forever missed by her family.

She is survived by T.J. and Jordan Tibbs of the home, Marc Ruotola of Kings Bay, Georgia, and Kaci Lynn Tibbs of St. Marys, Gerogia.

The family would especially like to than Dr. Kokoricha, Nora, Carmen, the 2 R.N.'s and The Hospice of the Sandias Staff and aides Ernie, Liza and Lala for the loving and compassionate care they all gave Karen during her illness. The family requests you honor their request for privacy during this time of tremendous loss.
