Marie Reese

Marie Reese, age 87, of Clovis passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2017, at the Farwell Care and Rehab Center in Farwell, TX. She was born on June 4, 1930 to the home of Clarence and Beatrice (Denson) Huey in Hawkins, TX. She married the love of her life, Charles A. Reese, on November 26, 1979, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Marie had a love for the outdoors. She loved mowing her lawn most of all. She was a very simple person and enjoyed the simple things the in life. She will be most remembered by her contagious smile.
She is survived by her daughter, Berta James of Marysville, CA; grandsons, Charles James and Jeremy Strait both of Marysville, CA, and Michael and Kenneth James of Independence, MO; and a granddaughter, Lori Baker.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles.
A private burial will be held in the Mission Garden of Memories Cemetery in Clovis, where she will be next to her husband Charles.
